Following on from the success of the England Squash & Racketball National Conference at Lilleshall Sports Centre last year, SMART Way Forward has been asked to deliver a series of regional coach development workshops to their coaches around the country, helping them maximise every opportunity.
The first of these Regional workshops will be delivered in February at Woodford Wells Squash centre, focusing on the ‘Effective Personal Development of sports coaches’ .
The workshop will highlight the importance of areas such as verbal, written and visual communication, as well as proactive listening, body language and how to manage yourself and your players effectively .
Mark Williams, Senior Regional Manager for the Eastern region at England Squash & Racketball, said: “We are delighted to have SMART Way Forward delivering a series of CPD coaching workshops to our sports coaches around the country, beginning with the Eastern Region.
