The launch of SMART Way Forward

Combining his career of more than 20 years’ commercial sales experience with his success as a distance runner and athletics coach, former international athlete Nadeem Shaikh has launched SMART Way Forward; a dynamic new consultancy offering a range of sales management and training services specifically tailored for the sports and leisure industry.

Nadeem founded the business following his outstanding track record of delivering commercial success in a host of senior management positions with companies including Disney, Reed Elsevier, Leisure Media and The Nichem Group.

Through SMART Way Forward, Nadeem has designed a unique proposition of commercially-focused services including sales management, sales team training, motivation and mentoring, advertising and promotional strategy consultation and ongoing sales support, for customers working within sports, leisure and health and fitness.

With his outstanding commercial skills, natural drive and enthusiasm, passion for delivering results and first-class coaching and training skills, Nadeem’s aim is to bring together his business and sporting experiences to support a host of organisations looking for greater success in an increasingly competitive landscape.
