Universities encouraged to protect their sports facilities by installing perimeter fencing from JB Corrie & Co Limited

Established UK fencing manufacturer JB Corrie & Co Limited has teamed up with SMART Way Forward to encourage universities, colleges and sport clubs to protect their facilities by installing discrete, safe and secure perimeter fencing.

“Universities invest a lot of money into their sports facilities, especially those universities which are now established as High Performance Centres or Centres of Excellence. Therefore, it is vital that they protect their assets and investment in the best way that they can. JB Corrie & Co can help them do this by identifying the right products, at the right price to suit their budget.” said Maurice Hickman, Sales and Marketing Director at JB Corrie & Co Fencing Limited.

The team at SMART Way Forward have been contacting a variety of universities, colleges and sports clubs on behalf of JB Corrie & Co Limited, discussing their sports facilities and highlighting the most suitable fencing products available to protect them.

“Investment into world class sports facilities and equipment usually runs into thousands upon thousands of pounds. Therefore, when so much time money and effort has gone into installing those facilities, it is equally important to ensure that their investment is kept safe and secure at all times” said Nadeem Shaikh, Managing Director of SMART Way Forward.

“If budget is a problem, then there are currently a number of funding schemes and grant initiatives available though Sport England which could help ease the burden. These include the sustainable facilities fund, Inspired Facilities Fund and the Small Grants programme. However, you will need to act fast, as in some cases the window to apply for this funding is only open from 24th September to 17th December 2012!” continued Nadeem.

SMART Way Forward has worked with JB Corrie & Co Limited on a number of projects over the last 12 months, including those which have helped to promote ’ServeAce’, the specialist tennis practice fence used by a number of tennis centres, leisure centres, hotels groups and MOD sites around the UK.

“As always, the team at SMART Way Forward have been absolutely fantastic! They not only introduced our perimeter fencing products to most of the universities, colleges and sports clubs around the UK – but in their usual efficient way, they also identified some possible funding options available from Sport England which could help to pay for their fencing” said Maurice Hickman, Sales and Marketing Director at JB Corrie & Co Fencing Limited.
